Insulated Panels, Cold Chain & Construction Components

Industrial Solutions

Insulated Panels, Cold Chain & Construction Components

Polyurethane adhesive and rigid foam technologies for insulated panels, cold rooms, commercial refrigeration, refrigerated transport and related construction-component manufacture.

Insulated assemblies involve different skin materials, core types, component designs and production processes. Genkem assesses the complete panel or component construction, application equipment, pressing or filling process, operating conditions and required finished performance before recommending a suitable polyurethane technology.

Adhesive Solutions Across Insulated Panel & Cold-Chain Manufacturing

Genkem supports insulated-panel manufacturers, cold-room and refrigeration businesses, refrigerated-transport manufacturers, composite-panel processors, construction-component manufacturers and producers of specialist insulated equipment and enclosures.

Insulated Wall, Roof & Door Panels

Polyurethane adhesive and rigid foam technologies for insulated wall panels, roof panels, doors and related building or enclosure components requiring controlled manufacture and thermal-insulation performance.

Cold Rooms & Commercial Refrigeration

Systems for cold-room components, refrigerated enclosures, commercial refrigeration equipment, thermal-insulation cavities and specialist insulated assemblies.

Refrigerated Transport & Vehicle Panels

Two-component polyurethane adhesive technologies for refrigerated vehicle structures, truck-body panels, insulated vehicle panels and related transportation components.

Sandwich & Composite Panel Manufacture

Panel-bonding technologies for constructions involving expanded-polystyrene, polyurethane-foam or wood-based cores combined with galvanised metal, GRP and other approved facing materials.

Specialist Insulated Components & Cavity Filling

Rigid polyurethane foam systems for controlled cavity filling, equipment housings, moulded insulation components and other customer-specific thermal-insulation applications.

Panel and component performance can be influenced by the facing material, core type, surface condition, component dimensions, adhesive distribution, pressing process, production temperature and intended service environment. New or unfamiliar constructions should therefore be assessed before full-scale manufacture. Thermal-conductivity, fire-performance, structural-classification and certification claims must be confirmed for the selected system and complete panel or component construction. Fire-retardant polyurethane systems must not be described as fireproof or non-combustible.
