HOW TO USE
- Ensure timber moisture content is between 8% and 12%
- Sand surfaces thoroughly and remove all dust before coating
- Do not wash floors before application
- Product is supplied ready to use — do not dilute
- Apply between 10°C and 25°C
Application Tools:
• Quality brush
• Mohair roller
• Floor applicator
First Coat:
• Apply evenly
• Allow drying for 2–4 hours
• Sand using 100 grit sandpaper
Second Coat:
• Remove dust thoroughly
• Apply second coat
• Allow drying for 2–4 hours
• Sand using 220 grit sandpaper
Final Coat:
• Remove dust
• Apply final coat evenly
High Traffic Areas:
• Apply additional light coats where required
Critical: Not suitable for exterior woodwork, decking, damp timber or poorly prepared surfaces. Avoid excessive film build and apply in one direction only.
Tip: Open-grain timbers such as Pine, Oregon Pine and Yellowwood should be pre-treated with Nova Sanding Sealer for best results.
