- Stir thoroughly before and during use

- Work the coating thoroughly into the timber surface
- Avoid pooling or excessive film build-up
- Apply 2–3 coats depending on timber porosity and desired finish
- Allow coating to dry clear before recoating
- Allow 2–3 hours between coats under normal conditions
- Ensure adequate ventilation during application and curing
For Maintenance Recoating:
• Clean the surface thoroughly
• Remove dirt, oils and contaminants
• Allow timber to dry fully
• Reapply a maintenance coat as required
Critical: Exterior timber exposed to sunlight and weather will naturally age over time. While the pigmented finish helps slow visible UV weathering and colour fading, Nova 25 is not designed to permanently prevent natural timber ageing. Regular maintenance coats are recommended to maintain water repellency, colour consistency and long-term coating performance. Not suitable for permanently immersed or submerged marine applications.
Tip: Unlike traditional varnishes, Nova 25 generally does not require heavy sanding before maintenance recoats provided the existing coating remains sound and well adhered.
