HOW TO USE
- Ensure timber is clean, dry and free from wax, grease and contamination
- Sand new timber using 140–180 grit sandpaper and remove all dust
- Stir thoroughly before and during use
- Apply using a quality bristle brush following the timber grain direction
- Work product thoroughly into end grain, joints and exposed timber edges
For Porous or Weathered Timber:
• Thin the first coat with up to 10–15% Genkem Mineral Turpentine to improve penetration
• Allow 4–8 hours drying depending on conditions
Subsequent Coats:
• Apply a minimum of 2–3 coats
• Allow at least 8–16 hours between coats
• For best results allow overnight drying between coats
• Lightly sand between coats using 220 grit sandpaper
Critical: Not suitable for continuous water immersion, high-traffic decking, below-waterline marine applications or damp timber. Do not apply during rain or in excessively humid conditions.
Tip: Pre-treat exterior timber with Nova 30 Timber Treatment & Preserver before sealing for enhanced long-term timber protection.
