HOW TO USE
- Apply only to clean, dry, bare timber surfaces
- Remove all existing paint, varnish, wax or oil coatings before treatment
- Sand timber where required and remove all dust
- Stir before use and do not dilute
- Apply generously using a brush, spray, roller, dip method or suitable hand spray bottle
- Ensure complete saturation and penetration into the timber fibres
- For active infestations, spray directly into borer holes, cracks, joints, crevices and other difficult-to-reach areas
- Do not allow excessive pooling on the surface
Application Guide:
• Timber less than 5mm thickness: Apply 2 coats allowing approximately 30 minutes between coats
• Timber greater than 5mm thickness: Apply 3 coats allowing approximately 30 minutes between coats
• Floors and ceilings: Apply 2–3 coats at the recommended spread rate
- Allow the product to absorb fully and dry before overcoating with a compatible Nova timber finish
Critical: Nova 30 is a timber disinfectant and pre-treatment, not a decorative or protective finish. It must be overcoated with a suitable timber sealer, oil or varnish to complete the protection system. Not suitable for permanently wet, submerged or exterior exposed applications without a protective topcoat.
Tip: For timber affected by wood borer or termite activity, inject or spray Nova 30 directly into visible holes, cracks and crevices before treating the entire surface to maximise penetration and effectiveness.
