HOW TO USE
- Ensure timber is clean, dry, sound and free from wax, grease, silicone and contamination
- Sand new timber to a smooth, even finish and remove all sanding dust
- Stir thoroughly before and during use
- Apply using a soft cloth, mohair roller, quality brush or lambswool applicator
- Apply an even coat following the direction of the timber grain
- Avoid flooding, pooling and excessive film build
One-Coat Application:
• One coat is normally sufficient on suitably prepared timber where a uniform protective finish is achieved
• Certain timber species, surface conditions or demanding applications may benefit from an additional coat
• Additional coats can provide increased protection and extended service life
Additional Coats:
• Allow at least 8 hours between coats
• No sanding between coats is normally required
• Apply additional coats evenly and avoid excessive film build
Critical: Not suitable for below-waterline applications, permanent water immersion, damp or wet timber, contaminated surfaces or incompatible existing coatings. Do not apply during rain, heavy dew or excessively humid conditions.
Tip: For high-wear or exterior applications, an additional coat can provide enhanced protection and longer service life.
